

Drag the repair material into the crafting area.Drag the item to be repaired into the center of crafting area.Place the item to be repaired and the repair material in your Backpack or Utility Belt.The description will list the resource needed to repair the gear in green text. Hovering your pointer over a clothing item will allow the description of that item to pop-up on the screen.

The stats for each clothing item can be seen in-game by hovering over the item with your mouse or by equipping the item in the Character Tab. This protection is listed as a percentage of the damage that is prevented by wearing the gear. Protective gear reduces the damage that can be inflicted by five possible hazards. It is also important to have protection on your legs, which can help prevent a sprained or broken leg. You are most likely to be struck in the head or chest, which makes adding strong protective gear to these areas essential. Since it is used for many crafting recipes including Duct Tape it is a valueable resource. Glue can be found by looting Zombies and Containers, or crafted at a Campfire or Chemistry Station.
